The body of a dead teenager was dressed and propped up in a chair while surrounded by his favourite snacks for a bizarre memorial service.
Renard Matthews, 18, was shot in the head in June while he walked his dog in New Orleans, America.
The football-loving student was described as a 'homeboy' who loved playing video games by his heartbroken mum Temeka.
As part of an unusual memorial to the dead teenager, Renard was placed in a chair wearing a Celtics football shirt in a nod to his favourite team, the Boston Celtics.
He was placed in front of TV with a games console controller in his hand while surrounded by his favourite snacks at the Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home.
Food placed on the table next to him included a fizzy cola drink, Doritos and some chocolate cereal, which had been placed on the floor.
Renard was also pictured wearing his favourite player socks in a scene made to look like a typical, family home.
The softly-lit area was cordoned off with ropes and seats for family and friends attending the memorial were neatly laid out behind the body.
According to the Times Picayune , police were called to the scene in the Florida area of New Orleans at around 9:40pm after reports a person was "down".
