Former President Mahama graces Dumelo’s wedding

Former President John Dramani Mahama on Saturday attended the wedding ceremony of Ghanaian actor John Dumelo, which was held at Spintex in Accra.

He was among the public figures that witnessed the nuptials of Dumelo and his wife Gifty Mawunya Nkornu at the private wedding ceremony.

John Dumelo was one of the showbiz personalities who declared their support for John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2012 and 2016 general elections.

He has been described by many as the ‘beloved son’ of the former President.

Some showbiz personalities who attended the wedding were Ghanaian actors Prince David Osei, Yvonne Nelson, Yvonne Okoro, Fiifi Coleman, Kalsoume Sinare, Selassie Ibrahim, Jackie Appiah, Nadia Buari, Ekow Blankson and Ramsey Nouah from Nigeria.

Others were musicians Edem and Coded of 4×4 fame.

The couple successfully kept their marriage a secret, away from media focus.

Gifty is a graduate of the University of Ghana.
