PAC warns against vague and abstract explanations

The Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament, James Klutse Avedzi, says the Committee will not tolerate vague and abstract explanations from institutions which appear before it. 

According to him, the Committee is mandated to ensure that there is value for money for expenditure incurred by Public Officers. 

Mr. Klutse Avedzi said this when a team from the Cape Coast Technical University in the Central Region took its turn at the Committee’s sitting for the Western and Central Regions in Takoradi.
