Today is World Malaria Day Today marks the tenth World Malaria Day with series of activities across the world to celebrate progress against Malaria under the theme" We are Ready to Beat Malaria-are you?". The RBM Partnership to End Malaria encourages governments, health bodies, private sector companies and the public to accelerate progress against the disease. A statement signed by the CEO of the RBM partnership to End Malaria, Dr Kesete Admasu warns that after a decade of success in pushing back malaria, it is on the rise again and will come back with series of casualties if decisive action is not taken now. The statement says worldwide action is needed to meet the 2030 target of reducing malaria cases by at least 90%.
