TV3 journalist arrested for taking video of Kwabenya cell breakers

A Court correspondent of TV3 network, Mr Godfred Tanam, was arrested right after Court proceedings for taking videos of the accused persons after Court. 

The Police who arrested him for taking videos without permit accused him of misconduct after the reporter resisted attempts by the Police to take his phone away. 

The Police went ahead to arrest him though his colleague Court reporters tried to intervene. 

It took the intervention of the Presiding Judge Aboagye Tandoh and the Superintendent of Police Owusu Bempah to have him released from the Central Police Station where he was taken to.
