The Daily Graphic wants the public to look at the positive sides in the annual ban on drumming and noise making in the Ga traditional council instead of creating public disorder during the thirty day period. The paper draws the attention of the concerned authorities to learn the rules and regulations regarding the Ga tradition so that they can address the issues that usually comes with the ritual.  Also, authorities such as the EPA and AMA must educate the citizenry on the importance of noise pollution and the benefits of abstaining from noise. The Graphic urges the citizenry to consider the period as an act in line with Biblical traditions and customs. 

The Daily Heritage finds it unacceptable government's stance to defend the close to one thousand Presidential staffers. The paper laments that Information Minister, Mustapha Hamid's decision to confuse the public on the matter is insulting. It says the staffers are too many as the current financial status of the country does not give room to over staffing. The Heritage believes that President Akufo Addo can still achieve his vision with a leaner staff since former Presidents Kufour, Mills and Mahama all worked with few staff. 

The Ghanaian Times outlines the benefits the Planting for Food and Jobs programme contribute to the growth of the Economy. The paper is however worried about the low recovery rate of inputs supplied to farmers. It therefore calling for attitudinal change towards government assisted projects and urges the beneficiaries to follow the payment schedule to keep the programme running.
