Speaker Prof. Oquaye recalls Parliament for "urgent business"

The Speaker of Ghana's Parliament Professor Aaron Michael Ocquaye has recalled Members of Parliament from recess for "some urgent parliamentary business."

A statement dated April 23, 2018 and signed by the Speaker of Parliament Prof. Aaron Michael Ocquaye said the MPs are to report on Thursday April 26 and Friday April 27, 2018, to consider "some urgent parliamentary business".

The MPs' have been on recess since March 30, 2018.

The statement apart from indicating the consideration of the urgent Parliamentary business did not give further details of the nature of the business.
