National Mass Drug Administration against NTDs launched in Sunyani 

Ghana has eradicated Trachoma, a Neglected Tropical Disease (NTD) and currently Certification processes are ongoing by the World Health Organisation (WHO). 

It is expected that the certification process will end by June for Ghana to be officially declared a Trachoma free country.

The Acting NTD Programme Manager, Dr. Benjamin Kofi Marfo revealed this during the national launch of the Mass Drug Administration against Neglected Tropical Diseases in Sunyani, the Bono-Ahafo Regional Capital.
