Era of taking raw materials away should be a thing of the past - Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu


The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu says Ghana is determined to partner investors in all sectors of the national economy. 

He explained that the era where investors take away raw materials and resources out of the country should be a thing of the past. 

Rather, investors need to promote value addition of the resources locally, thus ensuring that both parties mutually benefit from the investment. 

Otumfuo Osei Tutu said this when the UK High Commissioner to Ghana, Ian Walker and a team including the UK Prime Minister’s envoy to Ghana, Adam Afriyie paid a courtesy call on him at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
