GRA urges students to Register for TIN The Ghana Revenue Authority has urged students to register for their Tax Identification Numbers, (TIN) as they are potential tax payers. At a seminar to sensitise students of some tertiary institutions in the capital on tax obligations and compliance as part of the GRA's tax and good governance week, Head of Public Affairs of the Authority, Kwasi Bobie Ansah said all citizens are required under the Internal Revenue Registration Act 2005 (Act 684) to register with the Authority. He said the TIN registration forms can be downloaded at the GRA's website and completed plus a valid ID such as Voters ID, Drivers Licence, National ID and Passport for onward submission at any of their offices or tax clinics. He entreated Ghanaians, especially public sector workers to file their tax returns by the end of this month to avoid sanctions. Story By: Naa Dzabley Ago GBCONLINE ---DECRYPTED---
