NADMO ready for rainy season -Abu Ramadan

The National Disaster Management Organisation, NADMO, says it is ready for the onset of the rains. 

Deputy National Co-ordinator, Abu Ramadan, said NADMO has taken risk assessment of flood prone areas and officials are on the ground monitoring the situation. 

In an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana, Mr. Ramadan said people whose houses were submerged in this morning's rains have been evacuated adding that, there were no casualties.

Mr. Ramadan said NADMO will collaborate with the Assemblies to ensure that houses situated on water ways are demolished.
