600 State Attorneys needed nationwide to effectively deliver mandate - AG

The Office of the Attorney General requires a minimum of six hundred State Attorneys nationwide to effectively deliver on its mandate. 

The Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Gloria Akuffo said currently, the office is working with about a quarter of the figure.

Miss Akuffo said this at a meeting with staff of the Office including the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), Registrar General’s Department and the Legal Aid in the Western Region. 

She said this and many other challenges facing the office affect the effective discharge of its mandate.
