Koku Anyidoho’s arrest ‘politically motivated’ - Sylvester Mensah

The former chief executive of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) and a leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sylvester Mensah, says the arrest and treason charges against Koku Anyidoho is politically motivated.  

Addressing Journalists at the entrance of the police headquarters, Mr Mensah said there are laws in this country that need to be followed in such matters but it seems these are not been adhered to.  

He said the lawyers are on the case.   

Some irate youth of the NDC who were at the police headquarters said the chaotic situation led to the shooting of some of their members who were injured in the process.
