Solar companies in the country must partner government to meet solar energy goals The Chief Executive Officer of Strategy Security Systems, Oheneba Ofori Boateng says solar companies in the country must resolve to partner government to meet projected solar energy goals. Speaking to Radio Ghana in Tema on the recent International Solar Alliance Summit, in New Delhi, India Mr. Boateng said solar companies are well equipped to support government on the renewable energy drive. This will increase the contribution of solar in the power mix from the current one-percent. He underscored the need for government to build the domestic capacity in the manufacturing and assembling of solar energy systems. This in his view will create job opportunities for the youth.
