Government approves US$8M for hosting 2018 Women`s AFCON 
tournament  

Government has approved eight million dollars for the hosting of the African Women`s Cup of Nations tournament slated for November this year (2018).  

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Isaac Asiamah, said the allocation of the funds will help to renovate the Accra Sports Stadium, the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast as well as training pitches at Elwak Stadium in Accra.
