Six bodies retrieved from Volta Lake after their boat capsized Six bodies have been retrieved from the Volta Lake after a boat they were travelling on from a funeral capsized. A combined team of fishermen and drivers were on hand to rescue seven survivors and helped to deposit the dead at the Donkokrom presbyterian hospital morgue. The dead were four women and two girls. The victims were travelling from Foekope to Bruben in the Eastern Region when they met their untimely death. Member of Parliament, (MP) for Afram Plains North, Betty Krosbi Mensah said she suspect the accident was caused by tree stumps in the lake.
