KNUST wins maiden Inter-Tertiary Mathematics competition

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has won the maiden edition of the Inter-Tertiary Mathematics Society Quiz held in Accra beating competitors, University of Ghana and University of Cape Coast. 

The quiz, organised by the Ghana Mathematics Society as part of its National Mathematics Day Celebration, was aimed at reviving the interest of students in the subject. 

President of the Ghana Mathematics Society, Professor Sitsofe Anku, bemoaned the lack of attention given to the subject by players in the educational sector.
