Ghana Intergrity Initiative wants government to make performance evaluation of appointees public The Ghana Integrity Intiative, GII has urged the Supreme Court to expedite action on the suit filed by Former Deputy Attoney General Dr. Dominic Ayine, against the Special Prosecutor nominee, Martin Amidu. To the GII, the promptness with which the Supreme Court will handle the case will go a long way in the fight against corruption. Head of Public Relations at the GII, Micheal Boadi in an interview with Radio Ghana said it is the right of Dr. Ayine to challenge what he thinks is an affront to the constitution in court, and that is what democracy is all about. Dr. Dominic Ayine filed the suit at the Supreme Court to uphold the principle of the Constitution which provides in Article 1 (99) that a public office holder should not be more than 60 years.
