Oxfam has been warned that it could lose over 32 million euros of European funding over the scandal. The charity’s deputy chief executive, Penny Lawrence, who joined Oxfam in 2006 as international programmes director resigned yesterday.If #Oxfam can be shut down because of a hand full of sex offences surely the same should apply to the Tory Party. At least Oxfam sacked the offenders which is more than can be said of the Tories.

The European Commission has given its reaction. "We take a zero tolerance approach to any allegations of misconduct by organisations that receive our funding. Some Oxfam staff allegedly exploited vulnerable girls and used prostitutes while serving in Haiti.
