Ghanaian Dancehall artist Ebony confirmed dead in car crash

Dancehall artist, Ebony Reigns, has been confirmed dead in a fatal accident at Mankaso in the Ashanti Region.

According to the Mankaso divisional commander of police, Ebony and two military officers were on board a Jeep with registration AS 497—16 from Sunyani heading towards Kumasi when it collided head-on with a VIP bus heading towards Sunyani from Kumasi late Thursday evening on the Sunyani-Kumasi road.
 
The two military officers later died at the Bechem Government Hospital after they were rushed there Supt. John Adusei Maiga confirmed.

The driver of the VIP bus is said to have survived the accident currently unconscious at the same hospital receiving treatment.

Ebony, 20, is said to be getting ready for her 21st birthday next week. 

She was also gunning for the artiste of the year accolade, the biggest award in the Ghana Music Awards.
