Interior Ministry Renews Alavanyo, Nkonya Curfew

The Ministry of the Interior has renewed the curfew imposed on Alavanyo and Nkonya townships from 6pm to 6am effective Sunday, December 31, 2017. 

The renewal of the curfew was based on the advice of the Volta Regional Security Council and by Executive Instrument. 

A statement signed by the Sector Minister, Ambrose Dery called on the chiefs, elders, opinion leaders, the youth and people to use the established mechanisms to resolve their conflicts and disputes to ensure peace in the area.
