Liberia: Refrain from premature declaration of results - ECOWAS Observer Team 

The ECOWAS Mission observing the elections run-off in Liberia has appealed to the front runners to refrain from premature declaration of the results and accept the verdict to be declared by the National Electoral Commission.

Addressing the media in Monrovia, Head of the mission, former President John Dramani Mahama commended the Coalition for Democratic Change, (CDC) and the Unity Party (UP) for demonstrating statesmanship and exemplary conduct so far, while urging their supporters to maintain the peace until the end of the process.
