GHS gives assurance H1N1 vaccines will arrive tomorrow Vaccines for the H1N1 influenza are expected in the country by tomorrow (Dec 20) but other reports coming in say the arrival could hit a further delay. The vaccines which were supposed to arrive in the country last Friday delayed due to flight arrangement difficulties. There is also a suspected case of meningitis at Mampong general Hospital. However the Director of Public Health at the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Dr. Badu Sarkodie has clarified that Ghana has sufficient supplies of vaccines for Meningitis. However, what is being expected are H1 N1 Vaccines. Dr. Sarkodie told GBC's Radio Ghana that the vaccines are expected to arrive in the country tomorrow (Dec 20).
