Ashanti Police Arrest Three Rape Suspects

The Ashanti Regional Police Command has arrested three out  of seven suspected members of a gang that allegedly gang-raped a girl at bantama in Kumasi. 

They are in police custody assisting in police investigations while the remaining four suspect at large are being pursued. 

This was contained in a statement signed and issued by the pro of the regional police command, asp Juliana Obeng a while ago.the three made up of two in shs one and the other in 2nd year. 

They were traced to their respective homes where they were arrested by the police after evaluating video of the alleged gang-raping which has since gone viral on social media.
 
Meanwhile, the victim has been issued with police medical report form to seek medical care. 

The statement noted that she is cooperating with the police in the investigation. 

She is being taken through counseling to mitigate the trauma she has endured. 

The statement has warned that it is criminal for anyone in possession of a copy of the video under consideration to circulate it through whatever means. 

Members of the public have also been urged to provide the police with any credible  information that could lead to arrest of the runaway suspects.
