The Ghanaian Times commends the NPP for the political maturity exhibited during its delegates conference, saying it is a plus to the country's democratic governance. The paper believes that building a strong democratic state with a vibrant economy requires strong political institutions, from the ruling government and the opposition alike to help foster good governance. While lauding the NPP for a successful conference, it implores other parties, especially the opposition to also come out with their plans to educate the public about what they are doing and what they intend to do in the future.

The Daily Heritage hopes urgent attention will be given to Article 78 (1) of the constitution requiring the President to appoint majority of ministers from Parliament. It believes that appointing majority of Ministers from Parliament is weakening the work of the House because most of the Ministers end up being regular absentees. This is due to the enormous responsibilities they have to discharge as Ministers. The paper believes good governance requires that certain laws are appraised periodically to gauge their relevance to current trends.
