Jerusalem: Netanyahu expects EU to follow US recognition

Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu says he expects European countries to follow the US in recognizing Jerusalem as his country's capital.

It is the first time in more than 20 years; an Israeli Prime Minister has visited Brussels for talks.
 
The EU's Foreign Policy Chief, Federica Mogherini says the bloc's stance on the matter is however unchanged.

Arriving in Brussels, Mr. Netanyahu again welcomed the announcement, saying for three thousand years Jerusalem has been the capital of the Jewish people, and Mr. Trump had rightly put the facts on the table.
