UCC Authorities respond to court decision to reverse suspension of 22 students Authorities at the Cape Coast University are to hold a crunch meeting on Monday (Dec. 11) to respond to the decision by Cape Coast High Court to reverse the University's decision to rusticate 22 students. The court also slapped the University with a 220 thousand cedi fine. The 22 students were rusticated for their alleged involvement in the clashes that occurred between Oguaa Hall and ATL Hall, leading to the loss of property as well as injuries to some students. The University, according to the Court failed to adduce enough evidence to link the said students to the crime. The rustication is therefore void and of no effect. Those who were rusticated were Executives of ATL and the Hall Week Planning Committee members. GBCONLINE ---DECRYPTED---
