3rd UNEA meeting ends in Kenya

About four thousand Heads of State, Ministers, Scientists, Business leaders and celebrities who gathered at Nairobi for the highest environment summit in Kenya committed themselves to increasing research and development to address pollution.

To this end 19 million dollars has been made available by the UN Environment Programme to attain this. 

The Chief Scientist at UN Environment Programme, Jacqueline Mcglade, told the media at the end of the 3rd UNEA meeting that a number of chemicals are being examined in order to find solution to the dangers they pose to humanity.
