Education, Health Ministries Working To Find Solution To 'Mysterious' Deaths At KUMACA

The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health are about holding a joint news conference on the dire health situation at the Kumasi Academy (KUMACA). 

The Ghana Education Service (GES) had indicated that it is awaiting a laboratory report from the Ghana Health Service on the kind of bacteria that affected the students and has claimed four lives.  

Public Relations Officer at the GES, Reverend Jonathan Bettey, said the final dose of vaccination for all students and staff ends today (Dec.7). 

The GES, he added, will take the final decision on whether to close done the school or not.
