DCE for Kwahu East says Police at Hweehwee are protecting Fulani herdsmen.

The District Chief Executive for Kwahu East, Isaac Agyapong, has accused the Ghana Police Service of providing protection to some Fulani herdsmen at Hweehwee.  

He said as Head of District Security Council, he has met with the council on several occasions to discuss the maltreatment of farmers in the area by Fulani herdsmen. 

Some residents of Hweehwee yesterday clashed with the Police for protecting a Fulani herdsman. Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr. Agyapong expressed his disappointment at the Ghana Police Service for the way it has handled the issue in the district.
