Peace Council questions Police for failure to arrest political activists who commit crime

The Chairman of the National Peace Council, Most Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Asante says the police are failing in their duty to bring to book, political activists who perpetrate crime. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana on the growing lawlessness by some youths aligned to the ruling party, Prof. Asante wonders why the police cannot arrest and prosecute those individuals.

Most Rev. Prof. Asante also expressed worry over the manner in which the issue of Fulani herdsmen is tackled.
  
He described the approach as ambulance solution, whereby any time there is conflict, security people are deployed to the scene.
 
According to him, the way to go is to go into ranching.
