Media houses tasked to put safety of their employees first- NMC 

The National Media Commission has tasked all media houses to put the safety of their employees first especially in discharge of their duties. 

Chairman of the Commission, Nana Kwesi Gyan Apenteng made the point when he led a delegation of the NMC to commiserate with the NET 2 family over the passing of Cameraman, Mohammed  Ashaley Yakubu.

Mr. Yakubu met his untimely death on Saturday in the gas explosion, while filming the disaster from the Atomic Junction fly-over. 

The NMC reminds Media Managers  of their responsibility in providing safety tips to employees to facilitate the coverage of news.
