WANEP advocates factional ownership of Bimbilla Peace Process The National Network Coordinator of the West African Network for Peace Building, WANEP, Albert Yelyong, says it is prudent for factions involved in the Bimbilla Chieftaincy dispute to lead the peace process in order to sustain it. Speaking on GBC ‘Behind the News’, Mr Yelyong said a number of dialogue sessions have taken place to facilitate a road map for peace, however restoring peace to Bimbilla township requires an integrated approach. Meanwhile, the Minority in Parliament has asked government to allow the court give its final verdict on the chieftaincy dispute in Bimbilla. According to the Minority spokes person on Defence and the MP for Builsa North, James Agalga per the tension in Bimbilla, government must step up efforts in ensuring peace. GBCONLINE ---DECRYPTED---
