Former President Mahama replies critics as he lands in Monrovia to observe October 10 elections Former President John Mahama seems to have replied his critics over the Kenyan elections which were annulled for irregularities. After arriving in Liberia as leader of the ECOWAS observer mission to monitor the country’s election, Mr Mahama said election observers are not magicians. The general election will be held on the 10th of this month and will see others elect a new President and members of the House of Representatives. Mr Mahama said he and his team will do everything possible to ensure smooth elections however the greater responsibility lies on the Liberian people to protect their democracy.
