Gov`t expresses profound gratitude to Ghanaians for contributing to Sierra Leone

Government has expressed its profound gratitude to Ghanaians, organisations and corporate bodies for contributing in diverse ways, towards the donation of items and cash to the Government and People of Sierra Leone during the recent natural disaster that struck the country.  

The people of Sierra Leone were hit by mudslides and flooding, causing extensive loss of life and property on August 14, 2017.
 
With the timely support and massive donations of Ghanaians, Ghana contributed significantly towards the recovery efforts.
  
A statement signed by the Minister of Information, Mustapha Abdul-Hamid said Ghanaians have indeed demonstrated love and commitment towards their sister African country. 

The statement said individuals, organisations and other bodies who wish to make further contributions are encouraged to do so through the Sierra Leone Embassy in Ghana.
