Communications Minister endorses sanctioning of some Radio Stations

The Minister of Communications, Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has endorsed the sanctioning of some radio stations by the National Communications Authority. 

She says the NCA is only enforcing the electronic communication act and need the commendation by all as they are making the law work. 

She told pressmen that there can negotiated teems of payment but the affected radio stations must fulfill their end of the bargain.

Mrs Owusu-Ekuful further indicated that TV stations which fall foul of the law will be equally dealt with. 

She encouraged media men to ensure their stations always fulfill their financial obligations to the state in order to safeguard their employment.
