The Daily Graphic and the Ghanaian Times write on the sanctions imposed by the NCA on some Radio Stations in the country. The Graphic calls for a dialogue between the sanctioned Stations and the National Communications Authority, NCA. The paper sees the action of the NCA as not only bold but long overdue. The Graphic describes the pressure mounted by some media houses and practitioners on the NCA as unfortunate since the action of the affected stations is a disregard for rules and regulations meant to ensure order in society. The paper calls on media practitioners to play by the rules since the 1992 Constitution enjoins them to hold government responsible and accountable to the people. 
                                 
The Times for its part expresses the need for the NCA to tread cautiously over the sanctions against the radio stations.  According to the paper, in sanctioning 131 radio stations for various offences, the NCA might have overlooked the good reasons why the stations exist and their contributions to the economic and social development of the country. It says the economic and social cost of the sanctions cannot be over emphasised hence its caution for restraint. The paper is also concerned about the political dimension that the sanctions appear to have taken saying the NCA must be tread cautiously so as not to fall into any socio-political landmines.
                                    
The Daily Heritage salutes Ghana's gallant cocoa farmers for their sacrifice over years, though their hard work has not been commensurate with wealth good price and decent bonuses. The paper thinks the time has come for leaders to negotiate well and ensure Ghanaians benefit from the natural resources at their disposal. According to the paper, the era of giving away Ghana's resources to foreigners should end.
