The Daily Graphic expresses concern about the National Communications Authority's, NCA, sanctions on 131 radio stations across the country. According to the paper, although the move is a step in the right direction, it wonders what NCA has been doing all these years without reminding the affected stations of their obligations. The paper says, it is worried at the politicisation of the decision  but is quick to add that, those who have been penalised have the right to voice their disagreement but if the NCA is truly applying the law, then the affected media owners have themselves to blame. The Graphic therefore urges such media owners to do the right thing for them to be back on air.

The Ghanaian Times commends the Ghana Journalists Association for conducting a successful election. In commending the Association, the Times reminds the new executives of the need  to ensure that the GJA is appealing to all journalists as there are many who have left the association or held back because there are no compelling reasons why they should join. To those who feel peeved that their candidates did not win and are contemplating forming another association, the Ghanaian Times urges caution and further reminds members that the association has a role to play in ensuring the sustenance of Ghana's democracy. 
                                     
The Daily Heritage reminds the public of the need to exercise good sanitation practices with the continuous rains being experienced. The paper says Cholera is always prevalent in Accra  during these times and there is the need to exercise caution on the food people eat and water they  drink. The paper calls on the Ghana Health Service to intensify public education and roll out preparedness and response plans countrywide to avert any disaster.
