Zimbabwe opposition leader Tsvangirai calls for national protests

Zimbabwe's main opposition leader, Morgan Tsvangirai, has called for national protests to demand electoral reforms ahead of the country's 2018 polls.

Speaking to journalists, he said his party is ready to defeat President Mugabe's ruling Zanu- PF Party next year.

Mr Tsvangirai added that the protest will be conducted soon without giving a specific date.
