NHIA owes Korle Bu GHC 14 million- CEO

The new Chief Executive Officer of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital Dr Felix Anyah, has revealed that the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) owes the hospital about 14 million Ghana cedis.
 
He said though management is in talks with the NHIA to retrieve the money, they intend to employ innovative ways to generate funds for various projects. 

According to him, the last time the hospital received any payment from the NHIA was in July 2016.  

Speaking in an interview with an Accra based private station Dr Anyah, said they are aware of the challenges the NHIA is facing.
