Chiefs in Elmina swears an oath on behalf of fisher folk to desist from illegal fishing The Omanhene of Elmina, Nana Kojo Conduah, together with his elders and some chief fishermen has sworn an oath before their gods on behalf of fishermen in Elmina to cease engaging in illegal fishing methods. The action according to Nana Conduah is to get the fishermen to desist from all forms of illegality at sea and restore fish stock.
