Ashanti Regional Police Command Re-opens Case Against Delta 8

The Ashanti Regional Police Command has re-opened investigations into a case against eight members of the vigilante group,'Delta Force' who were alleged to have  disrupted proceedings at a Kumasi court, causing the Judge  to flee. 

The case was dropped after earlier reports said the Attorney General advised that there was no evidence to pursue  the case. 

However, the Ministry of Information issued a statement indicating that the AG had instituted an investigation into why the case was dropped  without recourse to internal procedure. 

The Ashanti Regional Police Command says any one with  information should contact the Police, so as to facilitate investigations and prosecution. ASP Juliana Obeng is the Head of Public Affairs at the Ashanti Regional Police command.
