Make Galamsey Fight A Major Priority -CDD Tells Parliament

The Director of Research at the Ghana Center for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana), Dr. Franklyn Oduro says Parliament should make fighting galamsey a major priority in their second meeting for the year. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana, during an interaction between the press and the leadership of parliament, Dr. Oduro said as representative s of the people, their task is to champion the aspirations of the people, thus, the cry of the people to end galamsey must be a priority for them. 

He says despite the efforts being made by the sector minister, the house can equally take the matter on to ensure a speedy halt of the practice.
