Police warns against fake vehicle dealing syndicates

The Police Administration is warning the public against the activities of a syndicate involved in vehicle sale fraud across the country particularly in Accra, Tema, Kumasi, Obuasi, Tarkwa and Sekondi-Takoradi.  

According to Deputy Director of Police Public Affairs, DSP Sheilla Abayie-Buckman, these syndicates advertise vehicles for sale with their phone numbers on both the vehicle and at online marketing sites, luring unsuspecting persons to contact them.  

But these car dealers eventually bolt away with the vehicle upon receiving payment.
