Ghana Gas refutes claims of 'missing' helicopters 

The Ghana Gas Company has refuted claims that some helicopters purchased for the company cannot be accounted for. 

A statement from the Corporate Communications Department says the helicopters are currently stationed at the Air Force Headquarters at Burma Camp.  

It says the company does not have the expertise and hangars to operate and maintain the helicopters. 

The Ghana Air Force, however, possesses such facilities. 

It has therefore mandated the Ghana Air Force to operate and maintain them on its behalf.  

It adds that the helicopters are in good working condition and not “broken down” as erroneously reported.
