DVLA dismissed staff to receive salaries for May, June The dismissed staff of the Driver Vehicle and Licensing Authority are to be paid salaries for the months of May and June. About hundred staff of the authority have been summarily dismissed due to what management say is financial constraints. Chairman of DVLA Workers Uion, Eric Thompson, said the section of the Labour Law used in dismissing the staff do not apply to DVLA workers.
