Gender Ministry Develops National Strategic Framework To End Child Marriage By 2030 The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection has developed a National Strategic Framework to end child marriage in Ghana by 2030. The framework, which falls in line with UNICEF's global goals, was drafted in collaboration with local gender based Civil Society groups, NGOs, the UN and other stakeholders. Launching the framework in Accra, the Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Otiko Afisa Djaba decried the alarming rate of child brides and marriage of girls under 18 years.
