Vice President Bawumia assures Muslims of incident free Hajj Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has assured Muslims that this year's Hajj will be an incident free one. He has also allayed fears that, pilgrims will not be taken from the Tamale Airport this year. Dr. Bawumia was addressing Muslims at the Tamale Central Mosque after congregational prayers. He said government intends to continue with the airlifting of pilgrims from Tamale, a program initiated by the previous administration. Some Muslims expressed fears over the continuation of the program due to change in government. The Vice President appealed to the Muslim leadership to continue to pray for the current government to succeed. He asked for peace and unity and advised the Muslims to take pains to settle their differences. GBC
