Invest in cyber security programmes to prevent hacking - Expert Research has revealed that, majority of institutions in Ghana are vulnerable to powerful search engines that can be used to hack their systems. These institutions especially the banks and telecommunication organisations that collate data in their system only consider cyber security as an afterthought and not a priority in devising ways to protect their customers. The Head of Information Security and Risk at Cellulant Group, Dr. Bright Mawudor, who conducted the research said for Ghana to be well protected in the cyber space, the institutions must invest adequately in policies that govern how organisations are meant to be run so they do not become vulnerable to hackers.
