Emmanuel Atta Ofori confirmed as DCE for Kwahu South A 44 year old Assembly Member of Obomeng Electoral Area, Emmanuel Atta Ofori, has been confirmed as the DCE for Kwahu South at the Assembly's emergency sitting at Mpraeso in the Eastern Region. He obtained one 100 percent votes from all the 36 assembly members. The confirmation which is the first out of the 26 Districts and Municipalities in the region was conducted by the Electoral Commission with the regional party stalwarts and the Regional Minister present. The Eastern Regional Minister, Eric Kwakye Darfour, commended the Assembly members for helping the exercise to go on smoothly and hoped that, the cooperation will continue to enhance the development of the District. He explained that the DCE will not be sworn into office until all the other nominated DCEs in the region are confirmed. The confirmed DCE, Emmanuel Atta Ofori, thanked the House for accepting him as their DCE and asked all to come together to help build the District. GBC
